The Challenge
The primary challenge in this project was constructing a state-of-the-art soccer field for a Charlotte apartment complex located in a flood-prone area. This required designing an advanced drainage system to protect the MLS-standard astroturf field from potential water damage, ensuring its longevity and usability.
Additionally, the project needed to comply with the strict guidelines set by Major League Soccer (MLS) and Charlotte FC’s nonprofit organization.
